What is there to do at Guulabaa?
Wildnets tree top playground
WildNets Ropes Courses provide a more challenging experience for those seeking a more energetic adventure. The Kids Ropes Course is designed for ages 3-7 and will have your little one feeling like a true explorer! The Big Ropes Course is for 8 and up and include 70 challenges and thrilling ziplines.
Visit the Big Koala
The Big Koala, part of Hello Koalas Sculpture Trail, is located at Guulabaa. At 2.5 metres high and painted by local artists Pauline Roods, The Big Koala is an iconic landmark, greeting visitors as they enter from the carpark. A great spot for a happy-snap too!
Hang at the Hub
The Hub at Guulabaa, a series of architecturally designed decks which allow visitors to relax and enjoy the forest canopy views. The Hub provides access to Guulabaa’s visitor experiences, from the Wild Koala Breeding facility to Bunyah Café, Bunyah Bilbay Cultural Centre and WIldNets. Get a birds-eye view of the forest from The Hub; you might even spot one of Koala Conservation Australia’s resident koalas!
Koala Breeding Centre
Koala Conservation Australia operates the world’s first Wild Koala Breeding & Visitor Centre. Come see Koalas first-hand, understand and learn about these amazing creatures whilst supporting local conservation efforts too.
Dine at BunyaH Cafe
Bunyah Café at The Hub offers refreshments for visitors to Guulabaa. Whether you’ve worked up a thirst from bouncing at WildNets, need a coffee after your drive, or just want to sit back, relax on the main deck and enjoy the forest canopy, Bunyah Café is here to help!

BUNYAH BILBAY
CULTURAL CENTRE
Bunyah Local Aboriginal Land Council operate this Aboriginal art gallery and cultural centre.
Opening soon.
GUULABAA CATHEDRAL
Located under the highest deck of The Hub, this grand space is surrounded by towering timber columns and beams, framed with forest views. A cool, shady place on a hot day and offering protection in wet weather, Guulabaa Cathedral offers church-pew style seating for 150. Guulabaa Cathedral is free for visiting families to use around booked events.
Bookings will open later in 2025 via Forest Permits.

Bush Walking tracks
Guulabaa's bush walking tracks provide the perfect escape into nature, showcasing a blend of traditional land management and modern forestry techniques. These easy-grade trails highlight the historical timber walking bridge and modern interpretations of Biripi culture, nature, and sustainability. Free and open to all visitors, Guulabaa's walking tracks invite you to explore and discover the unique heritage and natural beauty of the area.

Guulabaa picnic area
After your walk, unwind at our scenic picnic spot, where you can spread out a blanket, enjoy a meal, and take in the serene beauty of the beautiful Cowarra State Forest. Whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation, Guulabaa has the spot for you. Guulabaa picnic area is a grassed area adjacent to the main carpark.

Travelling from the south
Take the Oxley Highway exit off the Pacific Highway and travel towards Wauchope.
Take the left hand turn into Burrawan Forest Drive.
Guulabaa way is a signposted right-hand turn off Burrawan Forest Way.
Look for the entrance to Guulabaa – Place of Koala on your right.
Travelling from the north
Take the Oxley highway exit off the Pacific Highway and turn right, heading towards Wauchope.
Take the left hand turn into Burrawan Forest Drive.
